Chair Weiler called the meeting to order at 12:09 p.m.

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to approve the minutes of the February 28, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Davis absent for the vote.

H.B. 126 Retirement Amendments (Rep. L. Perry)

Rep. Perry explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill: Mr. Scott Singleton, Citizen

Spoke to the bill: Mr. Dee Larsen, Legal Counsel, Utah Retirement Systems

MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 194 Public Safety Retirement Conversion Window (L. Perry)

Rep. Perry explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke to the bill: Mr. Dee Larsen, Legal Counsel, Utah Retirement Systems

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to pass H.B. 194 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
