Sen. Christensen called the meeting to order at 4:20 p.m.
MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to approve the minutes of the March 6, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to amend the bill as follows:

lines.
33 (2) A teacher who provides distance learning to a
student in Utah is not required to
34 hold
a license if:
35 (a) the teacher holds a teaching credential
issued by another state for the grade level

37 (b) the teacher is employed at a school in the
state where the teacher's teaching

was issued; and
39 (c) the out-of-state school where the teacher is
