Chair Henderson called the meeting to order at 8:18 a.m.

MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to approve the minutes of the March 5, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Bramble and Sen. Valentine absent for the vote.

Chair Henderson asked Sen. Harper to chair the meeting.

S.B. 269 Annual Leave Program II for State Employees (Sen. Henderson)

Sen. Henderson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Henderson moved to replace S.B. 269 with 1^st Sub S.B. 269. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Bramble and Sen. Valentine absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to place the bill on the Master Study Resolution.

Substitute Motion: Sen. Bramble moved to pass the bill out favorably and inform the Legislative Management Committee to assign the issue to a committee for further study. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Jenkins absent for the vote.

Sen. Harper relinquished the chair to Sen. Henderson.

H.B. 123 Property Tax Lien Amendments (Rep. M. Wheatley)

Rep. Wheatley explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Valentine moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed

unanimously with Sen. Jenkins absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Davis moved the bill be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed

unanimously with Sen. Jenkins absent for the vote.

H.C.R. 9 Concurrent Resolution Recognizing the 20^th Anniversary of the Utah Commission on Service and Volunteerism (R. Spendlove)

Rep. Spendlove explained the bill to the committee.
