Chair Van Tassell called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Harper moved to approve the minutes of the March 3, 2014 meeting.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Dayton  absent for the vote.    

 

1st Sub. H.B.  271       Motor Vehicle Emmissions   (L. Perry)

 

Rep. Perry explained the bill to the committee and distributed a handout.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Harper moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.                  Page 2, Line 43:         


             43        temperature  or under a heavy tow  ; or


 

2.             Page 2, Line 50:         


           50      temperature  or under a heavy tow  ; or

 

 

The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Dayton absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Dayton moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

H.B. 19        Electric Vehicle Battery Charging Service Amendments   (P. Arent)

 

Rep. Arent explained the bill to the committee:

MOTION:  Sen. Harper moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Mayne moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

Sen.  Dayton assumed the Committee Chair.

 

H.B.  349     Repeal of Transportation Related Funds  (M. Brown)

 

Sen. Van Tassell explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Van Tassell moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Van Tassell moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar.  The motion passed unanimously.

Sen. Van Tassell explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:   Sen. Van Tassell moved to adjourn.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Mayne absent for the vote.
