Chair Edwards called the meeting to order at 2:09 p.m. and invited the committee members and staff to introduce themselves.

Rep. Oda assumed the chair.

H.B. 65           Workforce Services Amendments (Rep. R. Edwards)

Rep. Edwards explained the bill assisted by Michelle Beebe of the Department of Workforce Services.

MOTION:     Rep. Cutler moved to replace H.B. 65 with 1st Substitute H.B. 65. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Westwood absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Spendlove moved to hold 1st Sub. H.B. 65. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Westwood absent for the vote.

H.B. 41           Local Economic Development Amendments (Rep. V. L. Snow)

Rep. Snow explained the bill assisted by Scott Hirschi, Director, Site Select Plus.

MOTION:     Rep. Last moved to pass out favorably 1st Sub. H.B. 41.

SUBSTITUTE MOTION:   Rep. Spendlove moved to replace H.B. 41 with 1st Substitute H.B. 41. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

The original motion to pass out favorably 1st Sub. H.B. 41 passed unanimously with Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Oda moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.
