Chair McIff called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Ward moved to approve the minutes of the committee's January 28, 2015, meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown and Rep. Chavez- Houck absent for the vote.
H.B. 175 Alzheimer State Plan Amendments (Rep. P. Ray)
Rep. Ray explained the bill to the committee.

H.B. 191 Utah Emergency Medical Services System Act Amendments (Rep. P. Ray)
Rep. Ray explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Paul Patrick, Deputy Director, Utah Department of Health.
MOTION: Rep. Kennedy moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown absent for the vote.

MOTION: Rep. Thurston moved to replace H.B. 94 with 1st Substitute H.B. 94, "Investigational Drug and Device Access for Terminally Ill Patients." The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown absent for the vote.
