Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 2:15 p.m.

 

S.B. 46                        Juvenile Court Judge Amendments (Sen. C. Bramble)

 

Sen. Bramble explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Weiler moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously

                     with Sen. Thatcher and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

 

S.B. 59                        Domestic Violence Amendments (Sen. T.  Weiler)

 

Sen. Weiler explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:  Sen. Weiler moved to amend the bill as follows:

                             154        (C)  the criminal history contains no record of a conviction  {, arrest,}   or  a pending   charge of a

                     

                      The motion passed with Sen. Davis and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Weiler moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously

                     with Sen. Davis and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

 

S.B. 52                        Asset Forfeiture Amendments (Sen. H. Stephenson)

 

Sen. Stephenson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:  Sen. Thatcher moved to replace S.B. 52 with 1st Sub. S.B. 52. The motion passed

                    unanimously with Sen. Davis and Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Thatcher moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously

                     with Sen. Davis and Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

 

S.B. 81                        District Court Judge Amendments (Sen. S. Urquhart)

 

Sen. Urquhart explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Weiler moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously

                     with Sen. Davis and Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:   Sen. Thatcher moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Davis and Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.
