Chair Draxler called the meeting to order at 4:09 p.m.

H.B. 200         Task Force on Voter Participation (Rep. P. Arent)

Rep. Arent explained the bill. A handout,"Utah Voter Turnout vs. National Average," was distributed to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Arent moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 2, Line 58:  

58   (b) at the November {  2016  }  2015  meeting of the Government Operations Interim Committee,

The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Grover and Rep. Nelson absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Peterson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Grover voting in opposition and Rep. Perry absent for the vote.

H.B. 234         Lobbyist Disclosure and Regulation Act Modifications (Rep. M. McKell)

Rep. McKell explained the bill.

MOTION:     Rep. Arent moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Perry absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Daw moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Perry absent for the vote.

Chair Draxler adjourned the meeting at 4:48 p.m.
