Chair Vickers called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m..
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to approve the minutes
of the January 30, 2015 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen.
Escamilla and Sen. Shiozawa absent for the vote.
H.B 28 Medicaid Management of Emergency Department Utilization (Rep. M. Kennedy)
Rep. Kennedy explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Shiozawa absent for the vote.
S.B. 92 Dental Practice Act Amendments (Sen. P. Knudson)

96 Section 2. Contingent effective date.
97 (1) If S.B. 98,
Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations, 2015 General Session, becomes
98 law, this resolution takes effect on July
1, 2015.
(2) If S.B. 98, Medicaid Accountable Care
Organizations, 2015 General Session, fails to become law, this resolution does
not take effect.
