Sen. Millner assumed the Committee Chair and called the meeting to order at 2:15 p.m.

S.B. 55 Community Development and Renewal Agencies Task Force (W. Harper)

Sen. Harper explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to adopt the following amendment:

1 Page 3, Lines 80 through 81:

80 (2) The task force is authorized to meet no more than eight times during the {2014}

2015

81 interim.

The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Mayne absent for the vote.

S.B. 67 Utah Housing Corporation Act Amendments (T. Weiler)

Sen. Weiler explained the bill to the committee assisted by Grant Whitaker, President, Utah

Housing Corporation.

MOTION: Sen. Stevenson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Mayne absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Mayne absent for the vote.

Acting Chair Millner adjourned the meeting at 2:49 p.m.
