Chair Jenkins relinquished the chair to Sen. Vickers. Acting Chair Vickers called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.
MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to approve the minutes
of February 12, 2015. The motion passed
unanimously with Sen. Christensen and Sen. Knudson absent for the vote.
S.B. 187 Development of Lands Around Bear
Lake (Sen. S. Jenkins)
Sen. Jenkins explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to adopt the following amendment:
1. Page 2, Line 32:
32 (2)
develop the area described in Subsection (1) :
(a)
consistent with the division's Bear Lake comprehensive management plan; and
(b) as funding
allows.
MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to pass the amended bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Christensen and Sen. Knudson absent for the vote.
MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to place the bill on the consent calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Christensen and Sen. Knudson absent for the vote.
