Chair Henderson called the meeting to order at 3:43 p.m.
MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to approve the minutes
of the February 10, 2015 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen.
Bramble and Sen. Harper absent for the vote.
H.B. 111 Payment of Property Tax Amendments (Rep. Webb)
Rep. Webb explained the bill to the committee.
Spoke to the bill: Lincoln Shurtz, League of Cities and Towns
Spoke for the bill: John Bond, Weber County Treasure
MOTION: Pres. Niederhauser moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Bramble and Sen. Harper absent for the vote.
The Chair permitted public comment from Alexandra Eframo, citizen.
Sen. Henderson relinquished the chair to Sen. Harper.
S.B. 165 Property Tax Valuation and Assessment Modifications (Sen. C. Bramble)
Sen. Bramble explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Henderson absent for the vote.
