Chair Jenkins called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to approve the
minutes of the February 17, 2015 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Shiozawa absent for the vote.
S.B. 200 Environmental Quality Boards Amendments (Sen. M. Dayton)
Sen. Dayton explained the bill to the committee:

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to amend the bill as follows:

2, Lines 33 through 40:
33 (i) one representative who:
34 [(A) is not connected with industry;]
35 [(B)] (A) is an expert and has relevant training and
experience in water quality matters;
36 [and]
37 [(C)] (B) is a Utah-licensed physician, a Utah-licensed
professional engineer, or a

relevant training and experience; and

state;
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Shiozawa absent for the vote.
MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to pass the amended bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Shiozawa absent for the vote.
MOTION: Sen. Vickers moved to place the bill on the consent calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Shiozawa absent for the vote.
S.B. 202 Conservation Commission Employees (Sen. R. Okerlund)
Sen. Okerlund explained the bill to the committee:

MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to replace H.B. 140 with 4th Substitute H.B. 140. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to hold the bill until the next meeting.
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to adjourn. The motion passed with Sen. Jenkins and Sen. Vickers voting in opposition.
Chair Jenkins adjourned the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
