Chair Davis called the meeting to order at 8:14 p.m.

 

S.B. 191          Uniform Interstate Family Support Act Amendments (Sen. L. Hillyard)

 

Sen. Hillyard explained the bill to the committee.

 

Spoke to the bill:         Lisa Stockton, Division Director, Office of Recovery Services

 

MOTION:  Sen. Escamilla moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Madsen and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:   Sen. Escamilla moved the bill be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Madsen and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

 

H.B. 146      Driving Under the Influence Revolution (Rep. S. Eliason)

 

Rep. Eliason explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Madsen moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

Rep. Peterson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:  Sen. Weiler moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:   Sen. Weiler moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

 

H.B. 164      Grandparents Rights Amendments (Rep. L. Christensen)

                    

The chair announced that this bill would not be heard today.

 

H.B. 184      Victim Restitution Amendments (Rep. B. Wilson)

 

Rep. Wilson explained the bill to the committee.
