Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 8:15 p.m.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Weiler moved to approve the minutes of the Feb. 24, 2015 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Escamilla, Sen. Thatcher, and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.    

 

S.B. 238       Prostitution Amendments (Sen. A. Millner)

 

Sen. Millner explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Weiler moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Escamilla and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:   Sen. Weiler moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Escamilla and Sen. Urquhart absent for the vote.

 

Sen. Madsen relinquished the chair to Sen. Davis.

 

S.B. 259       Medical Cannabis Amendments (Sen. M. Madsen)

 

Sen. Madsen explained the bill to the committee.

               absent for the vote.

 

Sen. Madsen resumed the chair.

This bill was not considered.

 

H.C.R. 1      Concurrent Resolution Designating Start by Believing Day (Rep. A. Romero)

 

Sen. Romero explained the bill to the committee.
