Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 10:15 a.m.

MOTION: Sen. Escamilla moved to approve the minutes of the March 5, 2015 and March 9, 2015 meetings. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Thatcher and Sen. Weiler absent for the vote.

H.B. 325 Utah Law Enforcement Memorial Special Group (Rep. L. Perry)

Rep. Perry explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke to the bill: Danny Driggs, Board Member, Utah Law Enforcement Memorial Board

MOTION: Sen. Escamilla moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Thatcher and Sen. Weiler absent for the vote.

H.B. 383S01 Athlete Injury Amendments (Rep. P. Ray)

The Senate floor sponsor, Sen Vickers, was present for the committee’s motions.

MOTION: Sen. Urquhart moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed

unanimously with Sen. Escamilla absent for the vote

MOTION: Sen. Weiler moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Sen.

Escamilla absent for the vote.
