Chair Christensen called the meeting to order at 8:07 a.m., and welcomed the students from Mr. Randall's class, Copper Hills High School.
S.B. 229 Child Support Guidelines Advisory Committee Extension (Sen. L. Hillyard)
Sen. Hillyard explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Chair Christensen moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. King and Rep. Wheatley absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Cutler moved to place S.B. 229 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. King and Rep. Wheatley absent for the vote.
S.B. 183 Judicial Salaries and Compensation (Sen. L. Hillyard)
Sen. Hillyard explained the bill to the committee accompanied by Roger Tew, Executive and Judicial Compensation Commission (EJCC)
MOTION: Rep. Hall moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Stratton absent for the vote.
H.B. 66 Marriage Modifications (Rep. J. Anderegg)
At the request of the sponsor, H.B. 66 was held without committee action.
S.B. 167 Juvenile Offender Amendments (Sen. A. Osmond)
Sen. Osmond introduced the bill to the committee with a video presentation as well as a handout summarizing the bill.

413 (3) The court may order the minor committed directly to the custody of the Department
414of Corrections if the court finds that:
415 (a) the minor would present an unreasonable risk to other s { juveniles } while in the division's
416custody;

MOTION: Rep. Cutler moved to pass the bill out favorably as substituted. The motion passed with Rep. King voting in opposition and Rep. Greene absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Oda moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with
