Chair Dayton called the meeting to order at 2:18 p.m.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Hinkins moved to approve the minutes of the March 9, 2015 meeting.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Escamilla, Sen. Hillyard and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.    

 

S.B. 300       Rate Committee Amendments (Sen. D. Hinkins)

 

Sen. Hinkins explained the bill to the committee.

 

Spoke to the bill:                     Mr. Mark VanOrden, Executive Director, Department of Technology Services

                                                Ms. Debbie Cragun, Executive Director, Department of Human Resource Management

 

MOTION:  Sen. Hinkins moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

 

2nd Sub. H.B. 104       Cow-share Program Amendments (Rep. M. Roberts)

 

Rep. Roberts explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Hinkins moved to adopt the following amendment:

1.     Page 3, Lines 75 through 76

House Committee Amendments

3-3-2015:     


                                     75             (c)  an arrangement under which the person receives raw milk for personal

                             76     [consumption.] use not to be sold or distributed  Ĥ   {[}  in a retail environment  {]}     or  for profit »Ĥ  ; and

 

The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

Rep. Powell explained the bill to the committee.

 

Sen. Dayton relinquished the Chair to Sen. Hinkins.

MOTION:  Sen. Jackson moved to proceed with the next agenda. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Dayton, Sen. Escamilla and Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.

Rep. Oda explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:  Sen. Jackson moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Dayton and Sen. Escamilla absent for the vote.

 

 

 

 

MOTION:   Sen. Jackson moved to adjourn.  The motion passed unanimously.
