Chair Bramble called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.  

 

MOTION:  Sen. Mayne moved to approve the minutes of the March 3, 2015 meeting.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Adams Sen. Davis absent for the vote.   

 

S.B.   265     Insurance Coverage for Abuse Deterrent Opioid Analgesic Drug Products (J. Stevenson)

 

Sen. Stevenson explained the bill.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Henderson moved to adopt 1st Sub. 265.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Adams and Sen. Davis absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:   Sen. Henderson moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Adams and Sen. Davis absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Henderson moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Adams and Sen. Davis absent for the vote.

 

S.B.   296     Antidiscrimination and Religions Freedom Amendments (S. Urquhart and J. Adams)

 

Sen. Urquhart, Sen. Adams, and Sen. Dabakis explained the bill to the committee joined by

Professor Robin F. Wilson, University of Illinois College of Law.

MOTION:  Sen. Weiler moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

MOTION:   Sen. Henderson moved to adjourn.  The motion passed unanimously.
