Design Certification Amendments (L.
Escamilla)
Sen. Escamilla explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Henderson moved to return the bill to the Rules Committee with a recommendation that it be submitted for interim study. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Adams, Sen. Davis, Sen. Weiler and Sen. Mayne absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Okerland moved to amend the bill as follows:

licensed master electrician, residential master electrician, journeyman
13 electrician, or residential
journeyman electrician {, or apprentice electrician} , who
has met certain additional requirements, to install,
14 repair, or replace an alarm system without
being licensed as an alarm business or
15 company, or as an alarm company agent;
and
