Sen. Weiler assumed the Committee Chair and called the meeting to order at 8:20 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to approve the minutes of the March 6, 2015 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

395 1st Sub. Controlled Substance Database Amendments (E. Redd)
Rep. Redd explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to adopt the following amendments:
1. Page 1, Line 17:
17 requirements
on and after January 1, 2016;
; ▸ provides that a physician employed as
medical director for a licensed workers' compensation insurer or an approved
self-insured employer may have access to the database regarding requests for
workers' compensation
2. Page 9, Line 256:
(ii) a physician employed as medical director for
a licensed workers' compensation insurer or an approved self-insured employer; or
256 {(ii)} (iii) a physician offering a second opinion
regarding treatment.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended. The motion passed unanimously.
