Sen. Osmond assumed the Committee Chair and called the meeting to order at 4:26 p.m.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Millner moved to approve the minutes of the March 3, 2015 meeting.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Jenkins and Sen. Iwamoto absent for the vote.

    

H.B.  282     1st Sub.      Online Education Program Amendments (B. Daw)

 

Rep. Daw explained the bill to the committee assisted by Sen. Howard Stephensen.  A handout,

“Statewide Online Program Success,” was distributed by Sen. Stephensen.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Milner moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Iwamoto absent for the vote.

 

H.B.   346       School Building Costs Reporting Amendments (J. Knotwell)

 

Rep. Knotwell explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Millner moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously


 

MOTION:  Sen. Jenkins moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar.  The motion passed

                     unanimously.

 

H.B.   319    Jail Contracting Treatment Rate Amendments (M. Noel)

 

Sen. Jenkins explained the bill to the committee.

 

 

Spoke for the bill:     George Chapman, Citizen

 

MOTION:   Sen. Millner moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

MOTION:   Sen. Millner moved to adjourn.  The motion passed unanimously.
