Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 2:13 p.m.
S.B. 42 Public Notice of Court Recording (Sen. K. Mayne)
Sen. Mayne explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Davis and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.
S.B. 57 Public Safety Emergency Management Amendments (Sen. K. Mayne)
Sen. Mayne explained the bill to the committee.

S.B. 43 Firearm Safety and Violence Prevention
in Public Schools (Sen. T. Weiler)
MOTION: Sen. Weiler moved to amend S.B. 43 as follows:

collaboration with the State Board of

process as described in Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code, to

materials and curriculum for the pilot program.
