Sen. Fillmore assumed the Committee Chair and called the meeting to order at 2:12 p.m.

S.B. 60 Low-income Housing Tax Credit Allocation Amendments (T. Weiler)

Sen. Weiler explained the bill to the committee assisted by Grant Whitaker, President, Utah

Housing Corporation.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

S.C.R. 7 Concurrent Resolution Honoring Those Who Have Assisted Korean War Veterans (J. Iwamoto)

Sen. Iwamoto introduced the resolution to the committee assisted by Gary Harter, Executive Director, Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass the resolution out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Millner moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 45 STEM Program Amendments (V. Peterson)

Rep. Peterson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Iwamoto moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 53 Business Resource Centers Amendments (J. Westwood)

Rep. Westwood explained the bill to the committee assisted by Ben Hart, Managing Director for

Urban and Rural Business Services, Governor’s Office of Economic Development.

MOTION: Sen. Millner moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
