Chair Last called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

MOTION:      Rep. McCay moved to approve the minutes of the February 4, 2016 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Cutler, Rep. Fawson, and Rep. Hutchings absent for the vote.

S.B. 14            American Indian and Alaskan Native Amendments (Sen. K. Van Tassell) (Rep. J. Draxler)

Sen. Van Tassell and Rep. Draxler explained the bill.

Spoke for the bill:

                        Mr. Chuck Foster, Utah State Office of Education

MOTION:    Rep. Poulson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. McCay absent for the vote.

MOTION: Rep. Snow moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. McCay absent for the vote. Chair Last adjourned the meeting at 4:40 p.m.
