Chair Jackson called the meeting to order at 4:04.

 

S.B. 0074        Aviation Amendments (Sen. Harper)

 

Sen. Harper explained the bill to the committee.

 

Spoke for the bill: Mr. Dave Hayman, President of Utah General Aviation Association     

 

MOTION:  Sen. Harper moved to replace SB 0074 with Sub. 1 SB 0074. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Adams absent for the vote.

                    

MOTION:  Sen. Harper moved to pass Sub. 1 SB 0074 out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

H.B. 0038       Unconventional Vehicle Amendments (Rep. Barlow)

 

Rep. Barlow explained the bill to the committee.

 

Spoke to the bill: Mr. Chris Caras, Utah Driver’s License Division.

                    

MOTION:  Sen. Mayne moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Van Tassell absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Mayne moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Van Tassell absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Mayne moved to approve the minutes of the February 1, 2016 meeting.  The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Van Tassell absent for the vote.    

 

MOTION:   Sen. Adams moved to adjourn.  The motion passed unanimously.
