Sen. Fillmore assumed the Committee Chair and called the meeting to order at 3:11 p.m.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to approve the minutes of the February 9, 2016 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Okerlund and Sen. Stevenson absent for the vote.

S.B. 148 Workforce Services Revisions (T. Weiler)

MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to adopt 1^st Sub. S.B. 148. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Okerland and Sen. Stevenson absent for the vote.

Sen. Weiler, assisted by Kathleen Bounous, Department of

Workforce Services, explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Okerlund and Sen. Stevenson absent for the vote.

S.C.R. 12 Concurrent Resolution Recognizing the Importance of Utah Sport and Olympic Legacy Efforts (J. S. Adams)

Sen. Adams explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to place S.B. 148 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Chair Fillmore adjourned the meeting at 3:24 p.m.
