Chair Jenkins called the meeting to order at 2;05 p.m.

1^st Substitute H.B. 135 State Parks Fee Exemption Amendments (L. Hemingway)

Rep. Hemingway explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill: Mr. Terry Schow, Retired Utah Veterans Affairs Director, American

Legion

Mr. Frank Maughan, Disabled American Veterans

MOTION: Sen. Knudsen moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Vickers absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Knudsen moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Vickers absent for the vote.

The committee did not consider H.B. 161 Agriculture Parcel Amendments (M. McKell)

MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Chair Jenkins adjourned the meeting at 2:20 p.m.
