Chair Dayton called the meeting to order at 4:11 p.m.

S.B. 92 Municipal Landscapes Amendments ( S. Jenkins)

The bill will not be considered till the next meeting.

S.B. 41 Appointment of County Assessors (A. Milner)

Sen. Milner explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Hinkins moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with consent Sen. Hillyard, Sen. Thatcher, and Sen. Escamilla being absent for the vote.

S.B. 48 Board Membership Restrictions ( L. Escamilla)

At the request of the sponsor, Chair Dayton asked that this bill not be considered.

H.B. 139 Transparency Advisory Board Modifications (D. Owens)

Sen. Owens explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Hinkins moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with consent with Sen. Escamilla, Sen. Hillyard and Sen. Thatcher being absent for the vote.

H.B. 27 School Districts Participation in Risk Management Fund (J. Draxler)

Rep. Draxler explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Hinkins moved to move the bill out favorably. The motion passed

unanimously with consent with Sen. Hillyard being absent for the vote.

H.B. 103 S 01 Department of Administrative Services Amendments ( C. Oda)

Rep. Oda explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill: Mr. Ken Hansen, Deputy Director Administrative Services

MOTION: Sen. Hinkins moved to pass the bill out favorable with consent. The motion

passed with Sen. Hillyard and Jackson being absent for the vote.

H.B. 30 Good Landlord Program Amendments (G. Froerer)

Rep. Froerer explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill: Scott Quinney, President, Utah Association of Realtors

Kirk Cullimore, Utah Apartment Association

MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed

unanimously with Sen. Hillyard being absent for the vote.

Chair Dayton relinquished the chair to Sen. Hinkins.

H.B. 32 Subdivision Base Parcel Tax Amendments (R.C. Webb)

Rep. Webb explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke for the bill: Derrick Whetton, Utah Board of Realtors

MOTION: Sen. Thatcher moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard and Chair Dayton being absent for the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Jackson moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Chair Hinkins adjourned the meeting at 4:52 p.m.
