Vice Chair Anderegg called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.

MOTION:       Rep. Westwood moved to approve the minutes of the February 22, 2016, meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Draxler and Rep. Anderson absent for the vote.

H.B. 374           Accessible Parking Amendments (Rep. K. Stratton)

Rep. Stratton explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of David Shaw, Citizen, and presented a power point discussion.

Spoke to the bill:            Dan Deuel, Citizen

                                       Joyce Delcourt, LCPD

                                       John Valentine, Utah State Tax Commission

Spoke against the bill:                 George Chapman, Citizen

MOTION:       Rep. Cunningham moved to proceed to the next item on the agenda. The motion passed with Rep. Lifferth voting in opposition. Rep. Draxler, Rep. Moss, and Rep. Anderson were absent for the vote.

S.B. 64              Special Group License Plate Modifications (Sen. L. Escamilla) (Rep. B. Wilson)

Sen. Escamilla explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Rep. Brad Wilson.

MOTION:       Rep. Lifferth moved to pass S.B. 64 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Moss and Rep. Anderson absent for the vote.

MOTION:       Rep. Westwood moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Moss and Rep. Anderson absent for the vote.

Vice Chair Anderegg adjourned the meeting at 9:51 p.m.
