Chair Fillmore called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.

MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to approve the minutes of the February 22, 2016 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 291 Working Families Employment Amendments (R. Edwards)

Rep. Edwards explained the bill to the committee.

Jeff Van Hulten, Governor’s Office of Economic Development, answered questions from the

committee.

MOTION: Sen. Millner moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Sen. Jenkins voting in opposition.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Chair Fillmore adjourned the meeting at 9:25 a.m.
