Acting Chair Urquhart called the meeting to order at 9:25 a.m.

HB 343 School Administration Amendments (Rep. Stratton)

Rep. Stratton explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Stephenson moved to pass HB 343 to the floor with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Stephenson moved to place HB 343 on the consent calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

SB 244 School Funding Amendments (Sen. Fillmore)

Sen. Fillmore explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke to the bill: Ms. Natalie Grange, School Finance Director, State Office of Education

MOTION: Sen. Fillmore moved to pass SB 244 to the floor with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
