Chair Fillmore called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.

 

MOTION:  Sen. moved to approve the minutes of the March 4, 2016 meeting.  The motion passed unanimously.

    

3rd Sub. H.B.  323      Continuing Care Retirement Community Amendments (E. Tanner)

 

Rep. Tanner explained the bill to the committee.

 

Spoke for the bill:  Todd E. Kiser, Commissioner, Utah Insurance Department

                    

MOTION:  Sen. Mayne moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

1rd Sub. H.B.  339      Child Welfare Services Amendments (K. Christofferson)

 

Rep. Christofferson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:  Sen. Millner moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

 

1st Sub H.C.R.  14      Concurrent Resolution Recognizing the United States and Utah’s Participation in World War I (Rep. S. Handy)

 

Rep. Handy explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:  Sen. Jenkins moved to pass the bill out favorably.  The motion passed unanimously.
