Chair Noel called the meeting to order at 12:45 p.m.

H.J.R. 7           Joint Rules Resolution on Medicaid Funding Report (Rep. D. Sanpei)

Rep. Sanpei explained the resolution to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Schultz moved to pass the resolution out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Froerer absent for the vote.

H.J.R. 6          Joint Rules Resolution on Ethics Commission (Rep. P. Arent)

Rep. Arent explained the resolution to the committee with the assistance of Ms. Kim Bouck, Executive Director, Legislative Ethics Commission.

A handout "Joint Rules Resolution on Ethics Commission" was distributed to the committee.

Mr. Eric Weeks, Deputy General Counsel, Legislative Research and General Counsel, explained the bill

MOTION:     Rep. Moss moved to pass the resolution out favorably. The motion failed with Rep. Moss, and Rep. King voting for the motion.

MOTION:     Rep. Knotwell moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously and the Chair adjourned the meeting at 1:20 p.m.
