2.   Point of the Mountain Development Commission (2016 H.B. 318)

Representatives from the Point of the Mountain Development Commission will address the committee to report the commission’s interim findings regarding their study of potential future planning and development of the area surrounding the border of Salt Lake and Utah counties.

3.  Class B & C Roads Fund

      The committee will receive an update on funding for Class B & C roads.

4.   State Highway Systems Amendments (draft legislation)

This legislation is prepared annually to address any additions to or deletions from the state highway system.

5.  Department of Transportation Amendments (draft legislation)

This draft legislation modifies provisions related to the Utah Department of Transportation to incorporate certain recommendations made by a recent audit performed by the Office of the Legislative Auditor General.

6.  DUI Impound Fee Refund Amendments (draft legislation)

This draft legislation modifies the time frame allowed for submission of a request for refund of DUI impound fees.

7.   High Priority Transportation Corridors Amendments (draft legislation)

This draft legislation modifies the circumstances under which a municipality or county is required to notify the Department of Transportation when the municipality or county receives a land use application that relates to land located within the boundaries of a high priority transportation corridor.

8.   Road Classification Amendments (draft legislation)

This draft legislation modifies provisions related to inclusion of roads included in the definition of a state highway.

9.  Specialized License Plate Amendments (draft legislation)

This draft legislation allows the Motor Vehicle Division to issue a second license plate to an owner or operator of an apportioned vehicle.

10.  School Bus Inspection Revisions (draft legislation)

 This draft legislation modifies the requirement for safety inspections for school buses from twice    annually to once annually, with additional random inspections of 20 percent of all school buses.

  This draft legislation establishes and amends provisions related to the use of unmanned aircraft.
