Chair Pitcher called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m.


1. H.B. 30 Historic Preservation Amendments (Webb, R. C.)


Rep. Webb explained the bill.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Webb moved to amend H.B. 30 as follows:

 

1.    Page 13, Lines 380 through 382:    

 

380 (2) Each municipality that designates a historic preservation commission shall, by

381ordinance, establish

  or designate  
an appeal authority that is comprised of

{

  one or more elected officials  

}

  the governing body  
to

382hear and decide appeals from decisions of the historic preservation commission.

 

The motion passed with a vote of 10-0-3.

MOTION:     Rep. Roberts moved to pass H.B. 30 out favorably as amended. The motion passed with a vote of 11-0-2.

MOTION:     Rep. Hall moved to pass H.B. 63 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 9-3-1.
