1. H.B. 16 Voting Revisions (Daw, B.)

Rep. Daw explained the bill.

Mr. Ricky D. Hatch, Clerk/Auditor, Weber County, spoke in favor of the bill.

Mr. Cory Holdaway, Voterise, spoke to the bill.

MOTION:     Rep. Perry moved to pass H.B. 16 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of

            9-0-1.

2. H.B. 11 State Boards and Commissions Amendments (Thurston, N.)

Rep. Thurston explained the bill with the assistance of Ms. Cherilyn Bradford, Governor's Office, and Mr. Mike Mower, Deputy Chief of Staff, Governor's Office.

Ms. Sarah Wright, Executive Director, Utah Clean Energy, spoke to the bill.

Mr. Fredric R. Gruendale, resident, spoke in opposition to the bill.

Ms. Sereya Amifiligan, resident, spoke to the bill.

MOTION:     Rep. Daw moved to pass H.B. 11 out favorably.

SUBSTITUTE MOTION:   Rep. Arent moved to hold H.B. 11. The motion failed with a vote

            of 2-7-1.

            Yeas: Rep. Arent, Rep. Chavez-Houck

            Nays: Rep. J. Peterson, Rep. Thurston, Rep. Daw, Rep. Nelson, Rep. Perry, Rep.                           V. Peterson, and Rep. Sanpei

ORIGINAL MOTION:        Rep. Daw's motion to pass H.B. 11 out favorably passed with a             vote of 6-3-1.

MOTION:     Rep. Daw moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
