Chair Buxton called the meeting to order at 4:09 p.m.
1. S.B. 103 Public Transit District Amendments (Mayne, K.)
Sen. Mayne presented presented the bill and distributed two handouts, a UTA Spreadsheet and a Letter to the UTA.
Renae Cowley, Lobbyist, Utah Media Coalition spoke in favor of the bill.
Jamie Belnap, Attorrney, General Counsel at UTA spoke in opposition to the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to replace S.B. 103 with 1st Substitute S.B. 103. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-2.
