Chair Anderegg called the meeting to order at 2:06 p.m.

1. 1st Sub. H.B. 36 Affordable Housing Amendments (Edwards, R.)

Rep. Rebecca P. Edwards presented the bill with the assistance of Mr. Jonathan Hardy, Director, Housing and Community Development Division and Ms. Claudia O'Grady, Vice-President, Utah Housing Corporation.

Two handouts, "Utah Affordable Housing Assessment" and "State of Utah Affordable Housing Assessment and Plan," were distributed.

Mr. Chris Sloan, Utah Association of Realtors, spoke in favor of the bill.

Mr. Matt Sibul, Utah Transit Authority, spoke in favor of the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass 1st Substitute H.B. 36 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-3.
