Chair Stephenson called the meeting to order at 2:13 p.m.

 

MOTION:     Sen. Hemmert moved to approve the minutes of the January 26, 2017 meeting. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-3.

1. S.B. 24 Natural Gas Heavy Duty Tax Credit Amendments (Hemmert, D.)


Sen. Daniel Hemmert explained the bill.


Ms. Rebecca Rockwell, Commissioner, Utah State Tax Commission, spoke in favor of the bill.


Mr. Bryce Bird, Director, Utah Division of Air Quality, spoke to the bill.

 

MOTION:     Sen. Hemmert moved to pass S.B. 24 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 6-1-1.
