Chair Ipson called the meeting to order.


1. S.C.R. 4 Concurrent Resolution Honoring Colonel Gail Seymour Halvorsen (Henderson, D.)


Sen. Deidre M. Henderson explained the bill with assistance from Colonel James R. Stewart, Executive Director, Gail S. Halvorsen Foundation.

 

MOTION:     Sen. Dayton moved to pass S.C.R. 4 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-3.

Sen. David P. Hinkins explained the bill.

 

MOTION:     Sen. Hinkins moved to pass S.J.R. 5 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 6-0-2.

3. S.B. 10 Veterans' and Military Affairs Commission Amendments (Knudson, P.)


Sen. Peter C. Knudson explained the bill with assistance from Colonel Gary Harder, Executive Director, Office of Veterans Affairs.

 

MOTION:     Sen. Knudson moved to pass S.B. 10 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-3.

MOTION:     Sen. Ipson moved to replace S.B. 77 with 1st Substitute S.B. 77. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-3.
