Vice Chair Christofferson called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m.


Chair Schultz discussed Utah transportation issues.


Mr. Dave Millheim, City Manager, Farmington commented on topics from the January 31, 2017 meeting.


1. H.B. 152 Transportation Funding Revisions (Sandall, S.)


Rep. Sandall explained the bill with the assistance of Mr. Lincoln Shurtz, Governmental Affairs Director, Utah Association of Counties and Ms. Linda Hull, Policy and Legislative Affairs Director, Utah Department of Transportation.


Mr. Cameron Diehl, Director of Government Relations, Utah League of Cities and Towns, spoke in favor of the bill.


Mr. Lincoln Shurtz, Governmental Affairs Director, Utah Association of Counties spoke in favor of the bill.









 

MOTION:     Rep. Westwood moved to amend H.B. 152 with Amendment #1.

1.    Page 1, Lines 13 through 15:   

 

13         authorizes money in the Local Highway and Transportation Corridor Preservation
