Rep. Hall explained the bill with the assistance of Mr. Van Christensen, Financial Audit Director, Utah State Auditor's Office, Ms. Kate Bradshaw, Lobbyist, Intermountain Power Agency, and Mr. Richard Beckstead, Accounting Operations Manager, Utah State Division of Finance.

Rep. Perry explained the bill. 


Mr. Justin Lee, Deputy Director of Elections, Lieutenant Governor's Office, spoke in favor of the bill.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Roberts moved to pass H.B. 186 out favorably.

 

SUBSTITUTE MOTION:   Rep. Ward moved to amend H.B. 186 with Amendment #1.
