Chair Buxton called the meeting to order at 3:06 p.m.

MOTION:     Sen. Harper moved to approve the minutes of February 6, 2017. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-2.

1. 1st Sub. H.B. 109 Public Utility Regulatory Restricted Account Amendments (Pitcher, D.)

Rep. Pitcher presented the bill with the assistance of Francine Giani, Department of Commerce.

MOTION:     Sen. Mayne moved to pass 1st Substitute H.B. 109 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 4-1-2.

2. H.B. 190 Telecommunications Advisory Council Repeal (Handy, S.)

Rep. Handy presented the bill with the assistance of Linda Hull, Department of Transportation.

MOTION:     Sen. Anderegg moved to pass H.B. 190 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-3.

MOTION:     Sen. Anderegg moved to place H.B. 190 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-3.

3. H.B. 210 Flashing Brake Light Revisions (Handy, S.)

Rep. Handy explained the bill.

MOTION:     Sen. Anderegg moved to pass H.B. 210 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-3.

MOTION:     Sen. Anderegg moved to place H.B. 210 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-3.

4. S.B. 183 High Load Motor Vehicles (Harper, W.)

Sen. Harper explained the bill.

MOTION:     Sen. Harper moved to replace S.B. 174 with 1st Substitute S.B. 174. The motion passed with a vote of 6-0-1.
