MOTION:     Sen. Weiler moved to amend H.B. 178 with Amendment #4.

 

1.    Page 4, Lines 112 through 113:      

 

112 (b) A municipality may not adopt a new disproportionate rental fee unless the

113municipality provides a disproportionate rental fee reduction.

       

  (c) A municipality that requires a residential landlord to deny tenancy to an individual based on the individual's criminal history under Subsection (3)(b) may not provide a disproportionate rental fee reduction of more than 10% of the municipality's disproportionate rental fee.  

 

The motion failed with a vote of 3-3-2.
