1. H.B. 229 Amendments Relating to Local Districts (McCay, D.)

Rep. McCay explained the bill.

LeGrand Bitter, Utah Association of Special Districts, spoke in favor of the bill.

MOTION:     Sen. Dayton moved to pass H.B. 229 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-4.

3. H.B. 230 Elections Revisions (Daw, B.)

Rep. Daw explained the bill.

MOTION:     Sen. Hinkins moved to replace H.B. 230 with 1st Substitute H.B. 230. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-4.

Arie Van De Graaff, Utah Association of Counties, spoke in favor of the bill.

MOTION:     Sen. Dayton moved to pass 1st Substitute H.B. 230 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-4.

MOTION:     Sen. Dayton moved to pass H.B. 244 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-4.

7. 1st Sub. H.B. 324 Local Budget Hearing Notice Amendments (Cutler, B. R.)

Rep. Cutler explained the bill.

MOTION:     Sen. Hinkins moved to pass 1st Substitute H.B. 324 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 3-0-5.

MOTION:     Sen. Hinkins moved to adjourn. The motion passed with a vote of 3-0-5.
