1. H.B. 355 Unified Commercial Development Amendments (Gibson, F.)


Rep. Gibson explained the bill.


Nate Sechrest, General Counsel, Reagan Outdoor Advertising, spoke in favor of the bill.

MOTION:     Sen. Dayton moved to amend H.B. 432 with Amendment #1 as follows:

 

1.    Page 1, Lines 16 through 17:

  This bill provides a special effective date.  

 

2.    Page 3, Line 89:  

 

89   (ii) serve to shorten the term of any member of the board.

       

  Section 2. Effective date. 

       

 If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect upon approval by the governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of Utah Constitution, Article VII, Section 8, without the governor's signature, or in the case of a veto, the date of veto override.
