1.    Page 7, Lines 184 through 194:

  (4) (a) For a calendar year beginning on January 1, 2017, at the request of a legislative

185body of a county, the commission shall adjust the county's certified tax rate as provided in

186Subsection (4)(b).

187 (b) For purposes of Subsection (4)(a), the adjustment to a county's certified tax rate is

188equal to the amount of the homeless to housing services payment described in Subsection (1)

189that will be transferred to the state treasurer on or before January 30, 2018.

190 (c) A county is not required to comply with the notice and public hearing requirements

191of Section 59-2-919 for an adjustment to the certified tax rate described in this Subsection (4).

192 Section 4. Retrospective operation.

193  This bill has retrospective operation for a taxable year beginning on or after January 1,

1942017.
