Utah Code Section 63A-5-603 requires the Division of Facilities Construction and Management to report to the committee annually on actual savings resulting from energy efficiency measures implemented using loan money from the State Facility Energy Efficiency Fund.

3.   Open and Public Meetings Act Training

The Open and Public Meetings Act requires that members of a public body be “provided with annual training on the requirements of [the Open and Public Meetings Act]” (Section 52-4-104).

4.   Interim Planning

5.   Long-Term Planning: Voting Equipment Selection Committee

Interim Rule IR2-2-103 requires each interim committee to devote part of its May interim meeting to long-term planning. The committee will discuss the work of the Voting Equipment Selection Committee, created in accordance with Section 20A-5-402.7, in anticipation of the long-term purchase of new voting equipment across the state.

6.   Code Simplification

      Study whether to create a work group or task force to find ways to simplify or reduce the state code.

8.   Report from Government Records Ombudsman
