1.      Committee Business

·         Approval of the minutes of the May 17, 2017 meeting

 

2.      Utah Sentencing Commission – Review of the Master Offense List

Pursuant to SB215, the Sentencing Commission will present the Master Offense List to the committee. 

·         Jennifer Valencia, Director of the Utah Sentencing Commission

 

3.      Increased fees for concealed firearm permits

The committee will hear from the Bureau of Criminal Identification regarding the process and purpose of raising fee rates for concealed firearm permits. The committee will also consider proposed changes to Utah Code regarding Department of Public Safety fees.

4.      Injury and PTSD Among law enforcement officers

The committee will hear from officers, PEHP, and the Utah Critical Incident Stress Management Team about current resources for officers with PTSD and discuss suggestions for further improvement.
